Lexington Woman Sentenced To Prison For Threatening Sen. McConnell
A Lexington woman will do jail time after threatening to kill Senator Mitch McConnell.
Susan Mary Collins received a 30-month federal sentence Thursday for mailing a threatening letter.
The Attorney General’s Office says she admitted to sending the Senator a letter telling him she would kill him.
Collins will have to serve at least 85% of her sentence before she’s eligible for parole.
