Police Investigate Attempted Robbery On U.K. Campus

U.K. officials said that a woman had been pushed to the ground Wednesday night during an attempted robbery.

The incident reportedly happened near the student center on campus.

According to U.K., three women approached the victim near the bookstore and asked her for money.

U.K. said that the victim was then punched and knocked to the ground.

The three women reportedly then started kicking the victim.

Officials said that the three women ran toward South Limestone.

It did not appear that they had taken anything from the victim.
