LPD: Man And Woman Arrested In Knifepoint Robbery
Lexington Police said a man and woman robbed someone at knifepoint on Saturday night.
Investigators said the reported armed robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. on Main Street at Elm Tree Lane.
Police said they quickly found the male suspect who was identified as Brandon Simmons.
Investigators said the female suspect, Melissa Brown, ran off, but was later captured by police.
Police said Simmons and Brown were both accused of robbery.
They were lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
