Ky. teen found dead in home, mother abducted

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A western Kentucky sheriff says a teenage boy has been killed and his mother was abducted from their home.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon said the boy’s body was found by authorities in his home Friday morning in Mayfield.

Redmon says the woman was abducted by an ex-boyfriend, prompting a multi-state search for her.

Graves County Coroner Phillip McClain says the boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The sheriff says there were signs of a struggle inside the residence.
