Convicted Sex Offender Charged with Falsifying Address

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, a 20-year registered sex offender was arrested Thursday for allegedly giving false or incomplete information to the sex offender registry.

Deputies said they received a tip that Douglas Judy, Jr. had been living with his girlfriend on Colonial Trace.

They were also told that Judy had set up a profile on Facebook, which is illegal for convicted sex offenders.

He was lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.

His girlfriend, 38-year-old Tammy Robertson, was charged with harboring a non-compliant sex offender.

Judy was originally placed in the sex offender registry for sexually abusing a nine-year-old child.
