Cats’ Golden Opportunity Tarnished
For years, 27 years to be exact, Kentucky has competed with Florida but the Cats have never really been much competition for the Gators.
The two, sharing the field again last night, and Kentucky tired of the series being so repeitive, decided to be competitive.
Mark Stoops’ defense, once again stingy, not allowing a TD in the first half for the third straight game.
Kentucky’s offense impressive despite a near-constant shuffling of its offensive line. Three redshirt freshman keying a 369-yd passing day from Patrick Towles – just the second time since 2008 Florida allowed a 300-yd passing performance.
With all those positives, a loss is still a loss. And the Cats know they allowed this golden opportunity to tarnish says Coach Stoops in the attached video.
