K9 Officer Injured During Search For Robbery Suspects
A K9 officer was injured Wednesday during a search for two robbery suspects in Lexington.
Police said the dog stepped on a downed power line on Merino Street and suffered a minor burn.
Officers were looking for two men who robbed another man at gunpoint on Pine Street after 2 a.m.
The suspects took the man’s wallet, which was later located without its contents.
Kentucky Utilities repaired the downed line,
