UK Defense Refuses To Rest
Kentucky’s offense stealing the headlines but the real story may be the UK defense.
With the first-half shutout of Ohio Saturday, Kentucky’s defense has shut out its first two opponents in the first half for the first time since 1988.
And for the first time under Mark Stoops, the Kentucky ‘D’ didn’t allow a touchdown – a fact that was brought to Stoops’ attention after UK’s 20-3 win over the Bobcats.
As you probably guess, Stoops was pretty happy to hear that bit of news.
