KY Unemployment Rates Down

A new report from the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training says that unemployment in Kentucky dropped in 117 of 120 counties in June of this year.

Boone County showed the lowest unemployment rate at 5.5%. 

Jackson County’s rate was the highest, posting a 16.5% unemployment rate.

Here in Fayette County, the unemployment rate is 6.3%
