Surveillance Photos Released From Gas Station Armed Robbery

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance photos of an armed robbery suspect who was accused of holding-up a gas station Friday afternoon.

Investigators said shortly before 2:25 p.m., a man wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask over his face, walked-in to the Parkway Marathon at the corner of US 127 and Old Joe Road.

Deputies said the man was armed with a small caliber handgun, demanded money, got it and left in a late 1990’s model blue or dark green Jeep Grand Cherokee.

A cash reward was offered for any information leading to an arrest.
