London Flea Market Reportedly Hit Hard By Storms

A large flea market in London was reportedly among the areas dealing with storm damage Tuesday night in Laurel County.

The National Weather Service confirmed there were winds of up to 56 miles per hour in the area.

Pictures that were taken at the Flea Land Flea Market on Wilderness Road showed heavy damage.

There was also a report of a tree with a 3 foot diameter that was down near the west end of the London airport.

As of 8:00 p.m., about 6,000 Kentucky Utilities customers in Laurel County were without power.
