Lexington Man Charged with Sodomizing 9-Year-Old
A Lexington man is behind bars after police said he sodomized a 9-year-old girl.
According to police documents, the incident happened in March at 49-year-old John Cooper’s apartment.
The next day, officers said the girl told her mother about what had happened.
She was taken to UK Hospital for evaluation.
Cooper has been charged with first-degree sodomy of a victim under 12.
