Woman arrested in connection with June murder in Woodford County

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 64-year-old Ohio woman has been charged with murder and attempted murder in the death in June of a Woodford County man,.

According to Versailles Police, Vicki Brautigan was arrested at her home in Centerville, Ohio, in connection with the June 14, 2020 death of David Clark at his Millville residence.

Brautigan was arrested on Woodford County Grand Jury indictments charging her with murder, two counts of attempted murder, first-degree burglary, and evidence tampering, police said.

Versailles Police worked closely with the Centerville, Ohio, Police Department to take Brautigan into custody without incident and she will remain in the Montgomery County Jail pending extradition back to Kentucky.

The case was investigated by the Versailles Police Department and will be prosecuted by the Woodford County Commonwealth’s Attorney Sharon Muse.
