Woman celebrates 100th birthday with parade

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Paris, Ky. native, retired educator, and Transylvania Chi Omega alumni turns 100 years old Wednesday and celebrates in style.

Ann Wallace Burns, a 15-year independent living resident of Richmond Place Senior Living, was honored on her 100th birthday with a COVID-friendly drive-by birthday parade celebration in the front parking lot at 3051 Rio Dosa Drive in Lexington.

Many members from her church, Central Christian Church of Lexington, and family members were part of the celebration.
