Father accused of being under the influence after small children found wandering

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A father was arrested in Laurel County after deputies say two small children were found unattended and walking down a road on Wednesday morning.

Deputies say 40-year old Frederick Scott, of London, was under the influence when they found him and that he was belligerent during the investigation.

Scott was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct 2nd degree; alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest, according to deputies.

He was taken to jail in London.
