Traffic stop lands two people in jail on drug charges

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A K-9 with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office played a role in a drug bust following a traffic stop.

Deputies say after pulling over a vehicle at the intersection of US 127 and Denmark Drive on Tuesday, K-9 Aja indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

Investigators say they found heroin, methamphetamine, Suboxone, a digital scale and a glass pipe.

Michael Blakey and Shaunda Brown were arrested on drug charges, according to deputies.
