UPDATE: Coroner identifies Driver trapped in during car crash Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Jason Jordan died in a car crash Friday afternoon.

Deputies say the crash happened on Hopper Creek Road about 10 miles Southeast of London around 5 in the afternoon.

Investigators say the Jordan crashed off the road  into a tree and then came to a stop in a pasture, trapping Jordan inside.

The coroner says the driver died on scene.
