Insurance agents raise funds to fight hunger

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Allstate insurance agents in Lexington, Nicholasville and other towns joined together to help fight hunger across the state.

The 17 agency owners secured a $20,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® Grant to benefit Dare to Care. The grant was awarded to recognize the volunteerism of these Allstate agencies, who used social media to raise awareness of Dare to Care’s challenges to feed the hungry.

The grant will provide an additional 60,000 meals to local families in need.

  11. Chris Roberson, Shepherdsville
  12. Alex Rosser, Glasgow
  13. Ben Rouholiman, Louisville
  14. Nichole Smith, Louisville
  15. Rebecca Turner, Nicholasville
  16. Scott Wellman, Ashland
  17. Debbie Williams, Louisville

Dare to Care is one of thousands of organizations this year to receive Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grants® secured by agency owners, personal financial representatives and licensed sales professionals on behalf of the nonprofits where they volunteer.
