Firework Vendors React to Firework Ban

Firework vendors feel the ban on using fireworks in Fayette County will probably hurt their business.
A large majority of their sales come the two days before the Fourth of July.
Vendors say they’re still going to stay open, and point out there is no ban on selling fireworks.
They say some folks have already spent hundreds of dollars on fireworks, so to those people what’s an extra hundred dollars in a fine?
Some stands say they plan on staying open until July 7th, and expect business to pickup after the Fourth of July, if the ban is lifted by then.
Each of the 41 stands in the county costs a total of a thousand dollars, five hundred in state registration fees and five hundred in city permits.
