Police investigate Lawrence Avenue shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are investigating a shooting late Sunday niht.

Officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 1700 block of Lawrence Avenue at abut 11:30 p.m. Sunday. They found property damage but no victim.

A short time later, a victim showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound.

Officers spent the early-morning talking to the victim about what happened and trying to get information on possible suspects.

Police have not released additional information.
