Police: Inmate walks away from work detail

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) — An inmate walked away from a work detail in the Scroggins Park area of Georgetown at about noon Tuesday, according to Georgetown Police.

The inmate, Lamont Butts, is described as being about 6-feet, 4-inches tall and was last seen wearing a Scott County Corrections Department orange coveralls, according to officials.

He could be accompanied by a woman, police said.
