Clay County receives grant for road repairs

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Clay County has received a grant for slide repairs on one of its highways.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Monday that the county received $38,190 in emergency funds.

According to officials, the grant will be used for Cool Springs Road, Gabbards Fork Road and Sacker Road.

Officials say these repairs will make it safer for cars, school buses, and other vehicles that use the roads.
