Tractor-trailer hits, kills man walking in Rockcastle County

MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Troopers say a tractor-trailer hit and killed a man who was walking in Rockcastle County early Thursday morning.

Troopers identified him as 33-year-old Joshua P. Spillman, of Clarksville, IN.

Kentucky State Police says around 5:00 a.m. troopers went to the scene of a crash on I-75 near mile marker 63.

The Rockcastle Coroner’s Office says Spillman died on the scene.

Troopers say drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash.
