KSP: Slick roads may be to blame for deadly Floyd County crash

MARTIN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Floyd County man died in a car crash Friday morning that could have been caused by snowy conditions, according to Kentucky State Police.

Investigators say a call came in around 7:00 a.m. about the single vehicle accident on KY 80 in Martin.

Troopers say they determined 80-year-old James Curry lost control of his car on an off ramp, which caused the vehicle to hit a guardrail and flip over.

The deputy coroner says Curry died at the hospital.
