KSP: ATV crash kills one person in Daviess County

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Troopers say one person was killed in an ATV collision Wednesday in Daviess County.

Kentucky State Police say the crash happened on the 4600-block of Poplar Log Bridge Road in Philpot around 7:40 p.m.

Troopers say 41-year-old Jason A. Hunt, of Sellersburg, IN, was headed west on a Suzuki ATV when, for an unknown reason, he left the roadway and hit a tree. They say Hunt was thrown from from the ATV and died on the scene.

Authorities say Hunt was not carrying any passengers.
