AG: Repeat offender back in custody for child porn

LANCASTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A previously convicted man is back in custody after authorities say he possessed and distributed child pornography.

The Attorney General’s Office says 41-year-old Arthur E. Butler, of Lancaster, pleaded guilty to the charges on Friday.

According to authorities, Butler previously served five years in federal prison for child pornography and was completing five years of supervised release when he was arrested.

Final sentencing is scheduled for April 24, 2020 in Lexington.
