Bridge closed due to flooding in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Jackson County bridge was destroyed by heavy rains over the weekend.

In a Facebook post, the Jackson County judge-executive says the Low Water bridge on Eberle Road in Letterbox was damaged by severe flooding Sunday night.

The bridge is over the Rockcastle River and goes into Laurel County.

Officials say roads on both sides of the bridge are closed.
