KSP: Bomb Threat Issued at Russell Co. Courthouse

State Police are looking into a bomb threat that was called into the Russell County Judge-Executive’s office Tuesday morning at around 11.

They said a man reported that a bomb was somewhere in the courthouse.

According to police, the caller did not say which courthouse the bomb was in, so both Russell County courthouses were evacuated.

Troopers, detectives and K-9 units searched both buildings, but were not able to find any device.

The case remains under investigation.
