Thanksgiving fire at drug treatment center: Chad’s Hope/Facebook

MANCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Clay County drug treatment center is damaged after a Thanksgiving evening fire.

Chad’s Hope in Manchester posted on their Facebook saying students discovered a fire in a conference room as they were making final preparations for dinner.

The center says the fire didn’t affect most of the building but students were taken to a nearby hotel overnight.

Chad’s hope says within hours, churches and other groups were calling with offers of food and other support.
