Valley View Ferry closed until further notice

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Valley View Ferry remains closed for routine repairs and inspections.

Kentucky Traffic Management Center says repairs to the ferry are complete and the barge is back in the water awaiting a follow-up inspection by the Coast Guard.

The paddlewheel ferry has been closed since October 7, 2019.  It shuttles vehicles across the Kentucky River between Jessamine and Madison counties.
