Update: Lexington To Reopen Cooling Center

With the temperatures getting back to 100 degrees Friday, Lexington plans to keep its Cooling Center open a while longer.

It’s at the Dunbar Community Center on North Upper Street.

It will be open from 10 am to 8 pm through Sunday, July 8th.

If you plan to go, the center suggests you bring a blanket, pillows and bottled water.
