One person killed after crash in Caldwell County

PRINCETON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say one person is dead after a car crash in Caldwell County.

Troopers say they responded to a single-vehicle collision on I-24 at the 56 mile marker around 4:20 p.m. on November 19.

State Police say a 2007 silver Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 24-year old Jaryonlee Wells, of Omaha, Nebraska, hit trees after going off the road.

The Caldwell County Coroner’s Office says a passenger in the car, 22-year-old Heidi Renter, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger, one-year-old Elyonha Wells, was taken to the hospital, along with Jaryonlee Wells.

State Police say both were in stable condition.
