Thousands Sign Petition To Fight Cop Killer’s Possible Parole
A petition to keep a Lexington police officer’s killer in prison has thousands of signatures.
And much of the support came within the first 24 hours the it was posted online.
A jury convicted Glenn Doneghy of manslaughter and assault after he ran over officer Bryan Durman in 2010.
Doneghy was sentenced to 20-years in prison.
With time served, he will be up for parole in April.
Durman’s wife Brandy wants to make sure Doneghy stays behind bars.
She put up a petition online last Thursday to rally support before a parole hearing on February 24th.
