Lex Police Investigate Stabbing Near UK Campus
A man is in serious condition after being stabbed near the UK campus early Saturday morning.
Lexington Police say a 23-year-old man was found with four to five stab wounds around 1:15 Saturday morning near South Limestone Street and Chrysalis Court.
He was rushed into surgery.
Police say they can’t talk with him until his condition improves.
Officers searched the area for witnesses but no word yet on why he was stabbed or who may have done it.
LPD’S Robbery/Homicide Unit is investigating.
