Wildcats Pull Away Late To Beat Mississippi State

After trailing by three points at the half, the Kentucky Wildcats pulled away late to beat Mississippi State 85-63 in Rupp Arena Wednesday night.

James Young led Kentucky with 26-points, 10-rebounds and 5-assists.

Kentucky ended the game on a 20-to-2 run.

It was the conference opener for both teams.

It was Kentucky’s third win in a row.

The Wildcats are now 77-2 at home under head coach John Calipari.
