Man reaches goal of running marathons in all 50 states

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Man reaches personal goal of running marathons in all 50 states.

The Department of Public Advocacy says Jerry J. Cox, Chair of the Public Advocacy Commission, on completing his personal goal of running marathons in all 50 states and D.C.

They say in regards to this achievement, Public Advocate Damon Preston said, As incredible as this accomplishment as a runner is, its consistent with the dedication, perseverance, and drive that Jerry has shown in his career as a lawyer and leader.

The Public Advocacy Commission is a board that oversees the operations and protects the independence of the Department of Public Advocacy.
