Georgetown police looking for suspect in attempted vehicle break-in
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Georgetown police are looking for an individual caught on surveillance camera attempting to break into a vehicle.
According to police, it happened just before 4:30 a.m. in the Copperfield neighborhood.
Georgetown police posted on Facebook, “While most of us were sleeping this guy was hard at work making his rounds through our neighborhoods.”
Police say a neighbor caught the subject on their surveillance system. If you recognize this individual you should call Georgetown police.
They also shared some advice to avoid being an easy target like remembering to lock your cars, removing valuable items and never leaving a firearm in a vehicle.
