Charter bus flips on its side in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A charter bus with 22 people on-board flipped on its side in Laurel County.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says the driver apparently misjudged a turn as he was pulling out of a camping site early Sunday morning.

Eight people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies had to use a ladder to get people out of the bus.
