Fire forces closure of Bath County highway

OWINGSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Bath County highway was temporarily closed Thursday morning as crews battled a house fire.

The fire broke out just after 4 a.m. near West Highway 36 in Owingsville.

The Owingsville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire. Three other fire departments were called in to help fight the fire.

There is no word on injuries

The highway was reopened just after 7:30 a.m.
