Harrodsburg couple killed in head-on crash

 SPRINGFIELD, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police say a couple has died after a crash on US Highway 150  Saturday night just before 7.

Investigators say a motorcycle was driving on US Highway 150, when it tried to pass several cars in a no passing zone. The motorcycle hit a Jeep that had slowed down to make a left turn.

KSP says the driver of the motorcycle, 39-year-old John Bailey, and a passenger on the motorcycle, 41-year-old Amanda Bailey, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, and two passengers, were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
