Child is found dead in a pond

EMINENCE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Henry County family is mourning this weekend after a seven year old boy with autism was found dead in a pond Saturday morning.

State police say they found out the boy was missing Friday night just before 10 pm.

They looked for him near his home in Eminence for about five hours before the Louisville Metro Dive Team found his body in a nearby pond around 3:30 am.

The medical examiner’s office in Louisville is doing an autopsy and toxicology report.
