UPDATE: Missing Laurel County 2-year-old found

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office say 2-year-old Isabelle Towe was found safe around 12 p.m. Friday with her mother.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County authorities are searching for a child they say was taken by her father who is believed to be armed and intoxicated.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to a home Friday morning to a report of a disturbance.

They were told 20-year-old Shane Towe showed up at the home intoxicated and armed with a gun and began fighting with family members.

He then left with his daughter, 2-year-old Isabelle Towe, according to deputies.

The two are believed to be in a silver Chevrolet Cruze with Kentucky license plate 895ZBF.

Anyone who spots Towe’s vehicle is asked to call the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office at (606) 664-6600.
