Rand Paul & Unemployment Insurance
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is making one thing clear: he’s not against unemployment insurance.
On ABC’s "This Week," Paul said he is opposed to it — if people don’t pay for it.
He said it’s similar to borrowing money from China, or printing money for it.
"The longer you have it, it provides some disincentive to work," Paul explained. "We have to figure out how to create jobs and keep people from becoming long-term unemployed."
The Senator was also in the news this week for filing a lawsuit against the Obama administration over the National Security Agency’s over-collection policies.
