Donation Jar Theft

The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office accuses a man of trying to steal a ‘shop with a cop’ donation jar from a gas station.

The Sheriff’s Office says David Humphrey grabbed the jar from the exit 15 Express Station on Sunday.

Police say the jar had almost 70 dollars in it.

Investigators say Humphrey and Cody Mullis left the station with Mullis driving and almost caused a couple of crashes.

Humphrey is now accused of theft. Mullis is accused of wanton endangerment.
