Man Shot In Lexington Parking Lot
A man drove himself to the hospital after getting shot in a parking lot in Lexington, according to police.
The man told police it happened when he was sitting in his car at Richmond Road and Patchen Drive at around 3 a.m. Thursday.
He said a man approached the car wearing a bandana and aimed a gun at him.
Police said the victim tried to drive off but the suspect fired a shot at him, hitting him in his side.
The suspect took off and the man drove to the hospital.
He was treated for what police call a minor injury.
They also said a woman was with the victim at the time of the shooting but she was not hurt.
