Student found with knife at Woodford Co. Middle School

WOODFORD, Ky. (WTVQ) – Parents of Woodford County Middle School students were told Monday that a student brought a knife to school.

Principal Tracy Bruno says they were informed a student might have a knife and, when they investigated, did find the student had a small pocketknife.

Bruno says they don’t believe there was any threat and that the student was disciplined.

Bruno is asking parents to check their child’s belongings before they go to school every day.
