Georgetown set to vote Monday night on Fairness Ordinance
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Georgetown’s City Council is scheduled to vote Monday night on adding a new class to its existing fairness ordinance.
It is considering adding the LGBTQ community to protect it from discrimination.
Some people say it would encroach on their First Amendment rights.
Others say it can benefit Georgetown.
The vote is scheduled at 6 p.m.
