Home Loan Fund For Those With Lower Credit Scores

Some 70 Kentuckians will be able to get a loan for their own home thanks to an initiative from the Community Ventures Corporation.

A $5 million loan fund has been set up for Kentuckians with lower credit scores, who otherwise would not qualify for a home loan.

The program also matches potential homeowners with financial counselors who can follow up with them and provide financial advice.

The fund is made possible through several local banking institutions.
