Kentucky cities and counties receiving road funds from state
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Wednesday funds are heading to some cities and counties in the state for road improvements.
Among the projects:
– Leslie County: $716,575 for resurfacing work on 9.6 miles of roadways. Resurfacing repairs address existing surface cracks, potholes, raveling, and base failures.
– Knox County: $760,964 for area pavement improvements.
– Barbourville: $62,000 for drainage replacement on Johnson Lane.
– Lancaster: $167,100 for resurfacing work on Danville Street. Resurfacing repairs address existing surface cracks, potholes, raveling, and base failures.
