Two suffer critical injuries in Harlan County house fire

TOTZ, Ky. (WTVQ) – A husband and wife were airlifted to the hospital after their home burned in Harlan County.

Kentucky State Police were called about the fire off KY 522 at 11:18 a.m. Monday.

The husband and wife suffered life-threatening injuries in the fire, according to police, and were flown to Holston Valley Hospital in Tennessee.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
